I bought this, need this hate this & love this

Lot's going on in no particular direction!!

I am the new proud owner of this platter...it was my little "happy"
to myself for well, I haven't figured out a good reason yet, BUT I KNOW
my kitchen I DESERVE IT!

Coton Colors

How appropriate is this for well..... everything??

I will probably buy the school bus next week:)
{for MY KIDS not me!......}
and I just may need the cookie jar.....
{not sure if I want block or colored dots}

it holds the attachments too!

I hate, HATE, HATE that we moved & my kids are switching school districts.
Mini-Me is thrilled and can NOT wait for school to start...can not! She doesn't meet a stranger:)

My little man (a JR) isn't thrilled b/c he has been with all his friends since 8th grade. {8th was in the high school}
There is absolutely NO WAY possible to make it happen.
I can't let him drive to school that far EVEN if I could get him in.
My heart is breaking after our convo last night.
He is a very shy and introverted child.
I can count on my hand how many times he has gone off w/friends all summer.
I am dying...

and I love...

Grandma's Oatmeal Cookies
out of the Eat-Clean Book..
They have a different taste but it's a good & nutritious taste
{i think thats possible!}

{yes, they are HUGE, the Mr scooped/molded them, ha!}

  1. The platter is so bright and happy! Love it! The cookie jar is super cute, too :)

    Starting a new school is tough - I'm sure everything will work out just fine for your kids :) i can't imagine how hard it is to be a mom - I worry to death over my housecat! I will have a lot to learn when the time does come.

    I wanted to let you know that I tagged you in a little question/answer fun in today's post.

  2. What a fun platter!!!

    I hated starting new schools and I was never a quiet child. I'm sending positive thoughts and prayers to both of your kids.

  3. Great beautiful colors and textures.

  4. Love the plate and cookie jar- adorable! I switched colleges and it was sooo difficult to make friends. Until I joined clubs and a sorority. I think the key is to join clubs because those are small groups and easier to have small conversations.

  5. The platter is so cute. And it will come in handy.

  6. Love, love the plate....perfect and your pink and green post...Enjoying some blog hopping tonight....Hope you will stop by...I have some great giveaways on my holiday blog and a special post on Grammy Girlfriend. http://grammyababychangeseverything.blogspot.com/2010/07/winner-and-another-bunch-of-books.html

    Teresa, I am on my way:)

  8. I love love love the platter you just bought! I painted a piece of pottery at a local pottery place to be our family celebration plate. I plan to use it for my kids for birthdays, first day of school, and so on. A great tradition to start!
