Tasty Tuesdays & BEWARE....it's out!!

ok...now....BEWARE FRIENDS...

thanks to a dear friend {i am not liking her too much right now cause i feel i may vomit at any given moment} for sending me a pic of the candy corn and nuts, I HAD TO GET SOME!

PEEPS: they are of the devil....

yea....this was like 4 min. into my ride home....blahhhh
{no one eats these but me}

{i just stuck everything in there, ha}
We always keep M&M's in a pewter bowl in there.....
my kids love them cold!
Same with the gummies....

I had to get something for the kids....

mini-me loves sour patch kids and lil mr loves swedish fish
{momma loves them both too, lol}

we ofcourse have to have plain m&m's for lil mr

mix candy corn w/peanuts and TADA,
instant PayDay candy car...
let me tell ya,
I can't stand candy corn alone.
stick it w/some nuts and
it's on like never before!

And would you believe my hubby won't touch any of it??

Let me just say....
I feel so sick.....
I ate a LOT lil of everything.....
I got my feel....
I'm good til tomorrow next year!

I really think I am the only person in the world who eats PEEPS,
I know they are nasty but I just can't help myself :p

Now that I have gained 5 lbs tonight,
check back tomorrow cause I am going to blog about
some super cool running gadgets I have just discovered...
and seriously need to put to use!!

On another note, the kids had a great day at school and min-me said all her friends were talking about how much fun they had AND were telling teachers that they "had the best weekend ever!!"

I almost cried.....
that HUGE for her!
I hope she feels like she "fits in" a little better now.
Whatever it takes....whatever it takes!

It's amazing the pain you feel for your children...
pain I never knew existed...
isn't it funny the moment they take their first breath....
you become this selfless person that you never knew existed!
Thank You Lord for letting me be their mommy ❥

Now for something a lil more nutritional!!

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup of eight ingredients of your choice.
  2. Toss until all ingredients are mixed.
Keep on the right trail by measuring 1/4 cup of mix into small containers in advance rather than nibbling out of a big bag. That way you’ll avoid overeating.

  1. I'm very happy your daughter feels a little better now! I remember those feelings back then. Things will get better and better for her!

    And I spied some Swedish Fish in there! Love me some Swedish Fish! :)

  2. You are so funny. I love peanuts mixed with candy corn and I like Peeps, too.

    I'm happy to hear your daughter is feeling better about school. :) That's huge!

    I can't wait to hear about your running gadgets. I'll check back tomorrow.

    Have a great day.

  3. Ok .. I must see if we have those Peeps up here in Canada .. everyone in BlogLand is raving about them (so my friend I can assure you - you are not only one that eats them .. you are not alone).

    So Happy that Mini-Me is settling in and that her nes school mates have discovered how Wonderful she!!!

    LOL... Hubby is a chocolate monster .. he even has glass jars filled with chocolate throughout our home. Grocery shopping with him is like a trip to the Chocolate factory... the cashiers often say "you children are so lucky to be getting all this chocolate" I just look at Hubby (as yet we have not been blessed with a little bundle of joy)...

    The trail mix idea is awesome ..!!!

    P.s. pop over for a visit .. doing a giveaway..XO HHL

  4. I hate candy corn too, but love Paydays. Cannot wait to try this !!

  5. Thank you ladies!! Yes, it's a blessing to see her happy to go back to school!!! Praise God!!

    HHL, I'll send you some, just let me know!!

  15. Okay first off - yay for everything looking up for your daughter and her new friends (And for y'all being awesome parents!)! I look forward to the day when I can have a house full of kids!

    And about the candy corn/peanut mixture..I also add plain M&M's to it.. makes it kinda like a baby ruth (w/o the caramel). It's DELICIOUS!!

    Can't wait to try the trail mix :)

  16. I love trail mix! And, yes, I never realized what an emotional roller coaster motherhood could be until I had my boy!

  18. Halloween candy already?? Ugghh... the only way I'm going to be able to fight temptation is to stay away from Target and the grocery stores. I'm going to have to do all my shopping at the farmers market... they don't have candy there, do they?? ;-)

  19. Happy children happy mother! Love Halloween candy and your trail mix looks divine

  20. My weakness in the fall is the pumpkins that are made like candy corn.
